Outer Underthings offers custom corsetry in a vast range of styles and designs, all fitting to your personal needs and desires. From evening wear to underwear, we'll work with you to find the style and comfort that you will love.
Each custom corset is developed from scratch, beginning with your measurements. A special pattern is created just for your body, and then adjusted to the style and shape that you desire. With your choice of fabrics, colors, patterns and design components, the possibilities are endless.
FABRIC
Fabric is available on a sliding scale, depending on the cost of the fabric you want. We will shop for the fabrics in the color and styles you request, and send you a list of samples and prices for you to chose from. Fabric will generally cost between $10 and $30, depending on the quality.
We will work with fabrics provided by the customer, within some limitations. Contact to inquire.
We have stock fabric available for no additional charge. Our stock changes regularly, so please email for more information. Sample photos coming soon.
MOCKUP
A fully boned and grommeted mockup of your corset is sent to you for fitting purposes. This way, you can run, jump, sit and stand in your corset to determine if it is the right fit, if it is comfortable, and most importantly, determine any changes that need to be made. note: tight-lacing corsets include the mockup fee already.
This service is required for all bridal and tight-lacing corsets, and recommended for anyone with fit issues.

The Outerwear Corset - this garment is intended as a special occasion item. It is made with three layers of quality fabric. The first layer is the fashion fabric of your choice, the second, a heavy denim or twill that compliments your fashion fabric's weight and texture. To finish, a layer of soft, comfortable fabric to protect your corset from body oils and sweat. Garment includes waist tape/belt construction as well as durable solid and spiral steel boning and grommeting. Your choice of cord or ribbon lacing.

The Continuous Corset - This garment is the same as the traditional outerwear garment, but it does not have a front opening. This can be a good option for special occasion garments where the look of a metal busk front opening is not desired. This garment features the same construction details as the Outerwear Corset, and it comes with extra long, lightweight lacing so that it is easier to slip in and out of.

The Underwear Corset - This garment is intended to be worn underneath clothing to create a slimming silhouette for formal attire and evening wear. This garment is has a busk front opening. It is made with two layers of quality fabric. The first layer is a soft, delicate cotton sateen, and the second layer is a sturdy yet breathable cotton herringbone twill. This garment is comfortable and light. Garment includes waste tape construction as well as durable solid and spiral steel boning and grommeting. Your choice of cord or ribbon lacing.

Underwear Overbust Corset: $230 + Fabric
Underwear Underbust Corset: $200 + Fabric
The Tight-Lacing Corset - This garment is intended for daily wear underneath clothing to train your waist. This garment has a reinforced busked opening, with double boning in spiral steel. It is made with four layers of fabric, the first being a lightweight cotton or satin of your choice, the second layer of light yet very durable cotton coutil. An invisible coutil belting structure is made to reduce stress on the garment and increase durability and comfort of wear. The final layer is a soft cotton liner to protect the corset from body oils and sweat. This garment is sturdy, yet light and comfortable. Comes with lightweight cord lacing.
Mockup and Fabric costs are figured into the cost of the garment. Garment can be made with up to 6 inches of reduction. For sizes above 22, some additional supply charges may apply. Please contact for more info.

Modesty Panel: $15
A protective layer that sits behind your laces to cover your skin. Ideal for those that want a more covered look.
Additional Boning: $10 per set of 6
The larger your corset is, the more boning it will need to retain it's shaping properties. Most plus size corsets require this feature.
Garter Loops: $10
Includes reinforced bottom binding and 8 gross-grain garter loops. Garter straps not included.
Special Grommet Colors: $5
Black, Antique Brass, Antique Silver and White grommets available.
All corsets come with your choice of silver (nickel) and brass included in price.
